Who we are
DepthLink is a brand of CoreDepth Technologies LLC, registered in Delaware, USA. Our registered address is 8 The Green, Ste B, Dover, DE 19901, USA. For privacy requests, enquiries or questions about this notice, email sales@depth-link.com.
Information we collect
When you contact us or request a quotation, we collect the information you provide: your name, business email address, company, selected products and quantities, technical requirements, operating conditions and project timing. Please avoid including personal information that is not needed to assess your application.
If you subscribe to technical updates, we record your email address and consent. Authorised staff accounts use authentication and account information. Website hosting and security services also process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver the website and prevent abuse.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, assess engineering requirements, prepare quotations, support customer projects, send updates you have requested, and operate and secure our website. This website does not take online payments or collect payment-card details.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on steps you request before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in handling business enquiries and protecting our services, consent for optional marketing updates, and legal obligations where they apply. You can withdraw consent to updates by contacting us; this does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Who receives your information
We do not share your customer contact details with engineering or manufacturing partners. Authorised personnel use enquiry information to respond and manage the business relationship.
We use service providers to operate the website and communications: Vercel for hosting, Supabase for application data and staff authentication, Resend for email delivery, and Microsoft email services for our business mailbox. These services process information needed to provide those functions. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
International processing
CoreDepth Technologies LLC is based in the United States. Our service providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside your country. Contact us for information about the processing arrangements relevant to your enquiry and any applicable transfer protections.
How long we keep information
For enquiries that do not result in an order, we review the record for deletion 24 months after the last contact. We retain information beyond that review only where there is a continuing project, a legal obligation, or a need to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
Customer and project records are retained according to the continuing supply or support relationship and applicable record-keeping requirements. Subscription information is kept while you remain subscribed; a limited record may be retained to respect an unsubscribe request. Security logs and backups have separate operational retention periods and may expire later than a live record. You can contact us to ask about retention of a particular record.
Optional analytics and business network insights
With your consent, Google Analytics measures website usage. Separately, you can enable Business network insights to help us understand product interest from business networks. We record public page paths, timestamps, a temporary browsing-session identifier and country. We temporarily use your connection IP address to query public internet registration services (ARIN, RIPE NCC, APNIC, LACNIC or AFRINIC). Those registries receive the address being queried. A network registration can identify an internet provider or shared network; it does not reliably identify your employer or you personally.
Our visitor records do not store raw IP addresses, form content or URL query strings. We use a keyed hash of the IP address to cache lookup results for up to seven days, and session identifiers expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. Recorded visits are deleted after 30 days by a daily cleanup; inactive network associations are deleted after 90 days. Hosting security logs and backups have their own retention periods. Staff can review network registrations and record supporting evidence for a business association, but we do not use this feature to identify individual visitors.
Both options are off until you choose them. Use “Privacy choices” to accept, reject or withdraw consent. Your preference is stored for up to six months. We honour browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals by disabling optional tracking. Withdrawing stops future collection; contact us about deletion of previously recorded information.
Cookies and browser storage
The enquiry basket uses local storage in your browser to remember your selected products and quantities. Staff sign-in uses authentication cookies. Clearing your browser’s site data removes locally saved selections and may sign you out. These functions support the service you request.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. Email sales@depth-link.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and consider applicable legal exceptions before acting.
You may also contact the relevant data-protection regulator. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
