Illustrative configuration with subsea termination. Final dimensions and interfaces follow the agreed drawing.
Subsea Panel-Mount Pushbutton
CONFIGURED TO YOUR APPLICATIONA guarded, panel-mounted pushbutton for subsea control panels and underwater tooling, with a sealed rear cable and Nano subsea connector. Specify the complete immersed installation.
Why choose this configuration?
Consider when the control needs to pass through an underwater equipment panel.
- Actuation
- Manual momentary pushbutton
- Installation
- Threaded panel shank, sealing shoulder and retaining nut
Choose the mounting and connection around the mechanism, then match the electrical and immersion duty.
Compare sensing methods ↗Local control. Below the surface.
The recessed button provides a local command input for an underwater control system. Guard depth, button diameter and operating force are selected around gloved or tool-assisted operation.
Actuate
Define how the operator, mechanism or magnetic target produces the input.
Connect
Match the contact function, cable and Nano subsea termination to the control circuit.
Verify
Test the complete configuration against the agreed immersion and operating duty.
Specify the assembly.
Resolve every interface.
This switch uses a sealed subsea rear termination. Front-face immersion alone does not establish a whole-assembly rating; the panel seal, rear connection and enclosure must be assessed together.
Key engineering inputs
- Panel thickness, hole geometry and sealing face
- Pressure exposure on both sides of the panel
- Guard height, operating force and access
- Momentary contact function and control-circuit load
No pressure, electrical or functional-safety certification is implied by this overview.
| Configuration | Configuration by enquiry; ratings and dimensions confirmed for the agreed assembly |
|---|---|
| Actuation | Manual momentary pushbutton |
| Installation | Threaded panel shank, sealing shoulder and retaining nut |
| Service environment | Subsea immersion; specify hydrostatic pressure, duration, media and temperature |
| Electrical interface | Contact function and switching / carrying loads agreed for the control circuit |
| Cable & connector | Sealed moulded cable with Nano subsea termination; mating pair and pin allocation to agree |
| Wetted materials | Stainless steel, titanium, Inconel or Monel subject to design and duty review |
| Verification | Agree pressure, insulation and functional cycling tests with acceptance criteria |
Where this configuration fits.
Underwater control panels
Provide a deliberate local input on an immersed equipment panel.
Review the application ↗Subsea tooling
Position the control where the operator or handling tool can reach it.
Review the application ↗Submerged machinery
Coordinate the switch, enclosure and cable interface as a complete pressure boundary.
Review the application ↗One coordinated
engineering brief.
Review wetted materials, static seals, mounting and cable construction together. Titanium, Inconel and Monel options require an agreed grade and evaluation of the complete design.
Specify the exact Nano mating pair and pin allocation. A connector’s immersion rating does not automatically establish the switch assembly rating or permit underwater mating.
